Payroll

The payroll module breaks “what do we pay this month” into a few interlocking concepts. This order is the easiest read:

1. How pay periods work — the container itself: streams, statuses, what a run does.
2. Reading your payslip — the employee’s side of it.
3. The pool (unassigned adjustments) — earnings and deductions not yet attached to a period.
4. Running payroll — the admin’s sequence, pre-checks to marking paid.
5. From claim to payment — one claim’s four stations through the whole system.
